LICKS is dedicated to ending the overpopulation and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens by offering trap, spay/neuter and return services to owned and community cats. Our hope is that by ending the cycle of unwanted litters, we can help make every cat a cared for cat.
Feral kittens/cats and community cats are all welcome. We recommend kittens be about 2 pounds or two months old. If a cat or kitten is friendly we will work with our wide network of rescues and fosters to get the cat adopted into a loving home. LICKS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Nassau County. Our trappers are available to help you control and stop the rapid growth of your colony. One unfixed female can have 3 litters in one year, which means 18 to 24 more kittens, and each of those can have 8 kittens… help us stop the exponential growth of the feral cat population. Book a TNR (Trap, neuter, return) appointment now.
The Long Island Cat/Kitten Solution (LICKS) needs funds to help continue our success in controlling the growth of feral cat colonies on Long Island.
Your contribution will make it possible for us to continue this valuable community service and our mission to help end the overpopulation and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens.
